Gnomes
Available Classes: Mage, Warlock, Warrior, Rogue

The Gnomish Race:

Though small in stature, the gnomes of Khaz Modan have used their great intellect to secure a place in history. Indeed, their subterranean kingdom Gnomeregan, was once a marvel of steam-driven technology. Even so, due to a massive trogg invasion, the city was lost. Now its builders are vagabonds in the dwarven lands, aiding their allies as best they can.

Racial Mount: Mechanostrider

The Gnomes’ revolutionary Mechano-strider represents yet another marvel of their engineering prowess. Each ‘strider is specifically designed with the individual rider in mind. They are constructed using state-of-the-art steam compression, servo-motor dynamics, and duro-steel plating. This offers the rider a reliable and durable means of transportation. Some claim that the Mechano-strider's lack of true sentience makes for a very dumb mount. However, the gnomes counter that under a skilled rider, the Mechano-strider is more responsive than even the best trained live mount.

Dwarven/Gnomish City - Ironforge

While many Dwarven strongholds fell during the Second War, the mighty city of Ironforge--nestled in the wintry peaks of Dun Morogh--was never breached by the invading Horde. A marvel to the Dwarves' expertise of shaping rock and stone, Ironforge was constructed in the heart of the mountain itself: an expansive underground city of craftsmen, explorers, miners and Warriors. Although the Alliance has been weakened by recent events, the Dwarves of Ironforge, led by King Magni Bronzebeard, are forging a new future in the world.

Voices

These audio files are just 1 of many for each race's male and female vocal commands. Players can use these commands to actually play an audio voice file of common phrases so that everyone nearby may here. Its a good way to communicate with your group, just incase anyone isnt reading the chat. The voice commands consist of the following:

  • Assist Me
  • Charge
  • Cheer
  • Flee
  • Follow
  • Wait
  • Help
  • Heal Me
  • Incomming
  • Open Fire
  • Out of mana
  • Raspberry

Each vocal command has an animation tied to it as well. There are other vocals in the game that only the player can hear. For example, if you are out of range of your target, your character will speak to you and say "I need to get closer" or "I'm to far away"
